Yesterday morning, while girl #3 was eating breakfast looking out into the backyard, four deer appeared. Quickly grabbing my camera, I came to look.  At first, I just saw one and the two, three, four! We surprised my mother-in-law (MIL) with a 90th birthday party at the assisted living facility where she now lives. She was unsure about all of the attention that was being directed her way, but eventually decided that she like it, at least a little bit. In thinking back about her 90 years, I could not help but stop and think about all the things I had learned from her through the simple way that she has chosen to live her life.
