The HH and I went to the yearly Music and Molasses Festival yesterday at Ellington Agricultural Center. One of my favorite things was a “sandbox” filled with corn instead of sand. When the event is over, the corn will be given to the many farm animals that live at Ellington, a state treasure in the middle of our beautiful city! Fun day! Read the rest of this entry

Hot chicken and waffles….WHAT? Katie bar the door, it is fantastic experience! Being a skeptic by nature, I doubted the HH when he said he had eaten hot chicken and waffles and he loved it.
